We have curated a selection of projects to choose from, categorized into four categories:

Extended Cooling Path

An extended cooling path allows filament to cool gradually and uniformly after extrusion. This reduces the risk of warping and improves the dimensional stability and quality of the final product.

Pressure Sensor

In extrusion lines, melt pressure transducers are essential for controlling and monitoring the entire process. These devices measure the pressure of the melted material as it passes through the extruder.

Barrier Screw

A barrier screw is characterized as a feed screw that incorporates a secondary flight, or barrier flight, into the transition section

Multi-Spooling Unit

A multi-spooling unit automates the process of winding filament onto multiple spools. This increases efficiency and productivity, making it easier to manage large-scale filament production runs.

 

Dosing/Feeding Add-On

A dosing/feeding add-on ensures precise and controlled feeding of raw materials into the extruder. This add-on improves the accuracy of material ratios, leading to consistent filament properties and reducing material waste.

Deduster/Ionizer Add-On

A deduster can remove dust and fine particles whereas the ionizer removes static electricity caused by the shredding process. Together they improves the flowability of the material and  uneven melting of flakes, where fine particles degrade while larger particles remain unmelted.

 

Nozzle Cam

A nozzle cam provides real-time monitoring and visualization of the extrusion process at the nozzle. This allows for immediate adjustments and troubleshooting, ensuring high-quality filament production and reducing downtime.

Spool Fullness Detection

Spool fullness detection automatically monitors the amount of filament on a spool, preventing overfilling and ensuring uniform spool sizes. This feature enhances production efficiency and reduces material waste.

Printability Score

A printability score evaluates the quality and suitability of filament for 3D printing applications. It considers factors like dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and mechanical properties, providing users with a clear indication of filament performance.

Integrated Recycling System

An integrated recycling solution that transforms plastic waste into 3D-printable filament. This system combines shredding, drying, extrusion and spooling in a seamless process.

Polymer Dryer

A polymer dryer eliminates moisture problems that cause degradation due to boiling water in the plastic, ensuring higher extrusion quality and more reliable 3D printing results.

Filament Pelletizer

A pelletizer cuts filament into uniform, homogeneous pellets. This process is ideal for pre-compounding specific materials or to distributing pellets to pellet printers. The pelletizer ensures consistent pellet size and quality.

Twin Screw Extruder

A twin screw extruder consists of two intermeshing screws making it ideal for thorough mixing and compounding for more demanding applications.
